I find this time of year a bit annoying with the constant winds. My eyes dry out, dirt flies everywhere, I keep having to pick up the trash bin, and I have to ride my scooter sideways to keep from falling over.
I think my family mostly suffers from allergies. I think my dry eyes are probably allergies too. The wind kicks up all the allergens.
Unfortunately, once the winds stop, we get the high temperatures. The dog days of summer are particularly brutal with the doldrums.
Perhaps I am a malcontent who can’t make up his mind what he wants. But, I don’t think I’d have these issues up north, like in Wisconsin. Cold is somehow more tolerable. On the other hand, hot summers simply call for more “cold” showers, what passes for cold water around here.
