I think I might be getting the hang of https://truvvl.com/

Images

Your first image is your thumbnail and background image.

Images need to be in portrait mode. Otherwise, they'll be zoomed to fit. And, even then, portrait images will be cropped to match the app dimensions. So, be sure to put the subject of your photo right in the center.

You can add text to your image, which will become the image description. You can move the text to where it is less intrusive.

There are some image filters available.

Text

The default font only allows for a very short paragraph. If you write too much, it will scroll off the page. You can reduce the size of the font to make the text fit. But, if you make the text too small, people might struggle to read it.

Once you move away from the text, you can't edit. You'll have to add a page again and retype. So, be certain you got it right.

Important Details

The last screen is where you put the title and any hashtags. If you put hashtags in the title, they'll be stripped out. Be sure to put the hashtags at the end of the title. The last screen also allows you to decide where the post will be published. You can publish to your hosted Travelfeed blog (custom domain), TravelFeed, Truvvl app, Hive, and Steem.

Maps

There is an option to add a map in your Truvvl story. But, I have never been able to make it work. The map that matters, however, is the final entry where you type the title and hashtags. This will determine where your post is pinned. If you go back to edit something, you'll have to enter your location again.

If you really want to add a map to your story, you'll have to screen capture in portrait mode and use that.

Tips

I think it helps to plan or outline your Truvvl post before you start typing. It's not necessary. But, you'll likely have better results and struggle less.

If you make a mistake and need to delete something, press and hold the tile at the bottom. It will create a little X in the corner of the tile you can press to delete it.
