Perusing through my photos, I stumbled upon a couple of shots from my visit to San Antonio to pay my respects to Michael De Leon, a long time friend who was the force behind Project Spurs, a website with news about the San Antonio Spurs. My San Antonio Podcasters friends and I gathered to say good-bye to Michael.

Tycoon Flats

After the funeral services, we went to Tycoon Flats to catch up and have something to eat. We had wanted to eat near the funeral home. But, the wait time was long. So, we decided to find somewhere else. Tycoon Flats turned out to be a great place. Not only was the staff great, we also enjoyed the food. I had the Reuben sandwich.

I was so hungry that I could not make up my mind what to eat. So, I asked our waiter which she would have between two choices. I can't remember what the other option was. I'm glad I had the sandwich with fresh made potato chips.

With that, I had a stout beer. I can't remember the name. I do remember it was a milk stout. I'd never had that before. I would not have known about it had Christina Mullins not ordered one.

It was nice to catch up with old friends. We've all grown older. We have huge children. We don't all podcast as much as we once did, with the exception of @epodcaster, who is a podcasting machine.

Someday, I would like to go back to Tycoon Flats just to try something else on the menu. I wouldn't mind having my friends join me again.
