This morning, I had some ETH become available in my account that I had mistakenly bought via ACH rather than debit card. I used some of it to buy EOS and TRX. I also used some to buy more STEEM Power to help me reach Minnow status. Unfortunately, I am still about 5000 vests away from reaching the 1 MVEST needed to level up. For now, I am going to stop buying in more and cross that line through interaction. I need my wallet to catch up to my spending. If I'd put all of my ETH into STEEM, I would have made it.
My experience with STEEM has shown me what is possible once the EOS and TRX blockchains become more widely accepted. It's funny saying that considering how much their capitalizations are. One of the challenges I had with STEEM, early on, was figuring out how and where to buy STEEM tokens. So, my purchase of EOS and TRX are primarily in anticipation of when something on those blockchains catches my attention.
Once I reach Minnow status, I am curious how long it will take to level up after that? As impatient as I am, I may even continue to buy more STEEM Power.
I am becoming curious about another unexplored option here on STEEM, which is SBD savings. Until now, I have mostly been powering up using my Steem Dollars. I will try using savings for a bit to see what effect that has.
