Today was a bit of a lazy day, although I wound up with more steps than yesterday, I think. Something about Mondays makes you feel naff.
I was looking forward to our second day of walking laps around the park.
My attire consists of shorts and t-shirt. There was a nice breeze to keep us cool. Some evenings in south Texas can be hot and sticky. Fortunately, we have not had rain. Otherwise we would have to contend with mosquitoes. Then, I would not wear shorts.
I use Vibram five finger shoes for my walks. I have owned these for several years. They still have most of their tread. I don’t drag my heels with these shoes like I do with regular athletic shoes. Therefore, they have very little wear. I think washing them is wearing them out faster than walking. I also use them around the house as they are comfortable.
